We follow the ethical principles outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and maintain transparency at every stage of the editorial and publication process.

Scope and Objectives

The journal focuses on advancing research in the fields of clinical nutrition, food science, and food technology disciplines.

  • Promote the dissemination of innovative research.
  • Provide a platform for global collaboration and knowledge exchange.
  • Enhance awareness and understanding of critical topics in nutrition and food science.

Appeals and Complaints

The authors have the right to appeal if they have a genuine cause to believe that the editorial board has wrongly rejected the paper. If the authors wish to appeal the decision, they should email the editorial office [Email of journal] explaining in detail the reason for the appeal. The appeals will be acknowledged by the editorial office and will be investigated in an unbiased manner. The processing of appeals will be done within 6 – 8 weeks. While under appeal, the said manuscript should not be submitted to other journals. The final decision rests with the Editor in Chief. Second appeals are not considered.

Editorial Board Responsibilities

  • Handles complex cases, ethical issues, and disputes.
  • Editor in Chief's decision is final.

Associate Editors

  • Manage the peer review process.
  • Select appropriate reviewers and evaluate their feedback.
  • Make final decision on manuscripts.
  • Editors associated with any manuscript shall not be involved in the editorial process of that manuscript.

Managing Editors

  • Handles administrative tasks, including communication with authors.
  • Assigns manuscripts to Editors.
  • Ensures timely processing and adherence to guidelines.

Correction and Retraction Policy

Corrections:

Corrections are issued when the accuracy of published information is significantly compromised. These corrections are published in a subsequent issue of the journal under the sections "Corrections" and "Addenda."

Retractions:

Retractions occur when the fundamental conclusions of a paper are seriously undermined. This policy ensures that the integrity of the scientific record is maintained by addressing significant issues that impact the reliability of the research.
